Norfolk,… The best of both worlds, a City with a Beach or a Beach with a City,….it’s really up to you

Norfolk, a city of roughly 250,000 people, is located at the core of the Hampton Roads metropolitan area and is considered to be the historic, urban, financial, and cultural hub of the area. Norfolk’s economy is anchored by the world’s largest Navy Base, but has a thriving port and multiple universities, including a leading medical school. The economy is very diverse and growing.

Norfolk’s beaches are on the Bay making the water considerably warmer in Spring and early Summer, and they are calmer all year round, making it perfect for the little ones. It’s been a secret kept by “locals” for ages! Willoughby Beach, Ocean View, Cottage Line, and East Ocean View are the neighborhoods in Norfolk that line the southern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. East Ocean View is rebuilding at an impressive speed, with big beautiful single family homes just steps away from paradise. New restaurants and grocery stores are planned to make this a “walk-to-it” neighborhood and just imagine being able to walk home from the beach after a long sun-soaked afternoon.
